Bearcat families enjoy a fireworks show at Lander University’s Family Day on Saturday, March 19. “After a two-year hiatus, we were so happy to have our parents and families back on our campus to celebrate together,” said Matthew Gilstrap, executive director of Student Life and Engagement. Students and their families spent the day at the Lander Athletic Complex where there was something for everyone: face painting, caricature artists, mini golf, an egg hunt and food trucks. “Almost as a continuation of our Sesquicentennial Celebration, we want our families to also feel the excitement of the past, present and future here at Lander,” said Gilstrap.
